Very simple.
vB is a community dedicated to the love of music videos. vB is not intended as a forum for self promotion, unless you are a musician, of course.
To post a video to vB from one of the major video sharing sites (like Youtube and Google Video) simply paste the url (i.e.
http://website/videopage) to the video (not the EMBED code) into your post. VB will pull the video in automatically when you save the post.
It's that simple.
For the Music Videos' forums, all new threads must begin with a music video. That means that any new topic you start must have a music video in the first post. Posters in violation of this risk getting banned and their posts deleted, if this persists.
Also, the Music Videos forum section are only for videos from established artists. "What does established mean?" you might ask. It means if I, or the other mods haven't heard of you, and if we cannot find you listed on any recording industry websites, then you are not "established".
But don't worry. In our infinite foresight, we have made a place for you non-established artists as well. That place is the "Amateur" section.
Oh, and don't be lame and post with titles like "New Jay-Z Video!!!!!" if the video is really you and your cousin Ray-Ray. Doing stuff like that just waste's your time and ours, as well as people who might have actually liked you and Ray-Ray if you had just been honest.
